CLERGY AND LAYIHEN CONCERNED Ths “Chicago Daily News" issue of May 9, 1972, reflected that anti-war demonstrators were on the Eisenhower Expressway in Chicago on May 9, 1972, It was stated that five autos were used to block off Loop bound traffic in all but one lane of the Eisenhower . a hadiath¢ Expressway just past the U.S, Post Office at the height of the morning rush hour. The blockade started at about 7:30 a.m. May 9 and by &:10 a.m. nine individuals had been arrested in connection vith the blockade.
