Complainant called via phone stating that a company aircraft, NWA 727,
Fit #305 en route from Portland, Oregon was due, ETA at Sea/Tac at
1536 hrs this date and that a hi-jacker was on board.
Lee was immediately advised. Operations
contacte y Calls were made to Tower, POS Fire Dept., 6
FBI and all Police agencies concerned. (County, U.S. Marshall, WSP) b7C
NWA advised that Flt #305 had 36 passengers on board, seven crew menbers.
Complainant advised that two (2) back pack & two (2) chest pack parachutes
were in demand by the hi-jacker. Also in demand was a sum of $200 , 000
and fuel trucks to re-fuel the 727 in question. nee hi-~jacker directed
that he would permit the aircraft to land at S,a/T c when all conditions
were met. No police marked vehicles would be involved. Escort for fuel
trucks would be handled by one (1) vehicle. A bus would be permitted to~
approach the aircraft between both runways to pick up passengers from the
hi-jacked aircraft.
