He believed he had seat which was an aisle seat on the port (left) side of the aircraft in the rear. He stated that he did not realize that this air- eraft was being hijacked until it landed at the Seattle-. Tacoma Airport, Seattle, at approximately 5:50 p.m., to the best of his recollection. He recalled that when the aircraft ; first approached Seattle the pilot announced that there would bé be a delay in landing due to some mechanical difficulty and b7c that he would have to circle the field to burn up the fuel, This would take about half an hour, Howev aft circled for a much longer period and while felt that something was amiss, he did net consider at the aircraft was being hijacked. During the flight he had noticed a man seated in a window seat on the starboard (right) side of the arcraft cof rear. A brown haired stewardess, name unknown, was seate i ll the time. The stewardess b6 had the aisle seat. EAM [ehouene this was_strange, b7¢C The stewardess said not to look at the man, buth said he managed to turn back and look at the man twice, who stayed slouched down in his seat. He never saw the man stand and never heard him speak. He did not see that the man had any paekages with him. The name of this stewardess is unknown to him.
