Northwest Airlines gton, telephonically contacted sat _ at United Airlines, Reno, Nevada, and furnished Ollowing information: The Boeing 727 aircraft, formerly Northwest Airlines Flight 305, had been hijacked earlier in the day while en route to Seattle, Washington, from Portland, Oregon. The airplane landed at Seattle where the hijacker requested $200,000.00 and four parachutes, two chest packs and two back packs. After the money was delivered to the hijacker in a knapsack, passengers and two of the stewardesses were allowed to deplanc. At Seattle the hijacker had specified there were to be no police or fire equipment when the plane landed. He requested an unmarked car and a representative of the airline would be allowed to approach the aircraft from a ten o'clock relative position. The only other equipment to go near the aircraft was to be the air stairs and refueling equipment. At takeoff the hijacker had directed the aircraft to be flown at 10,000 feet with the rear door down, and {laps and landing gear down . [__J requested the following: 1. No equipment with beacon lights be in evidence . at Reno Airport when the aircraft landed. 2. No uniformed officers or crowds of spectators be visible from the aircraft. 3. That United Airlines and one other individual, who could be an FBI Agent, meet the aircraft on landing in an unmarked. automobile and that this automobile approach the aircraft from a relative position of ten o*clock 11/24/71 Reno, Nevada LV 164-60 Ont 1_ Reno, Nevada rites by.
