NORJAK
On 4/4/72 I called ; Z at the Bureau. I
advised him I had talked tol | who told me that the b6é
problem was when they got the authority originally it was bic
for only 7 days, but I told him we imposed no such limitation
and the letter we wrote to the Army made no mention of a
time limit.
I advised Mr. SHUTZ that[_____]said in view of the b6
7-day limit, the 6th Army at San Francisco had to go to b7C
CONARC, which is the Continental Army at Fort Monroe, Va.
to get this limitation removed.
I suggested to Mr. SHUTZ that he have his people
; contact the Chief of Staff's office in the Pentagon and
advise them that they should contact the CONARC people
and tell them to get on the job.
