I knew nothing of his organizational of filiations. t would Believe hin to
be a completely loyal American. I would recommend him without hesitation
for a position involving the security of our nation. ‘
In his career in the United States Marine Corps he had done many things.
He was a ‘customs officer for sone period.of time and was responsible for
the checking of thousands of Msrines, Navy personnel and so forth as they
eane in from overseas. He related to them all very well.
I feel also that he was a man who is of sound judgment, can size up 3
situation end make a proer decision. I say this because he had to do so
many times in the tower and even more so when he was directing sircraft
in @ ground control approach. I would feel that I was in good hands if
he were in charge of the plane on which I was riding as I had no qualns
about flying in on his directions.
