For the information of the Denver and Minneapolis Offices, KIPERTS is a suspect in several bank robberies which recently occurred in the Portland, Oregon area, On 12/10/71, the Wilsonville, Oregon branch of the National Bank of Orcyon was held up by a lone robber. At the time the robber entered the bank, a customer was being served by a teller and when the customer left the robber approached the teller, held her up, and departed, The teller advised that while waiting for the customer to depart, the robber had gone to a desk ai the side of the lobby where he did some scribbling. In conducting the investigation the Agent recovered from this area a note with the name "D. B. Cooper’ printed on it. The complaint used to arrest KIPERTS, on 11/3/73, alleged to the above indiment ‘and since then newspaper reporters in the Pacific Northwest have been running stories linking KIPERTS with captioned case, The description of KIPERTS does not resemble that of unsub in this case.
