The above described nylon cord wasshown to EARL COSSEY, the former owner of the parachute supplied to UNSUB in this matter. COSSEY stated after viewing the nylon cords that they were steering devices for steerable parachutes. COSSEY further stated that the parachutes supplied to UNSUB were of a non-steerable variety and therefore, had no steering devices whatever.
