following record of our files on the above named subjects

Division due to complaints on Novenber 30, 1943, I shen Anvaatigated the -
situation and found the following. ~ “
* He had a preinduction examination on Septeaber 2?, 1943 and was
accepted. He was sent up for induction on October 30, 1943 and at that time
he presented a certificate from Dr. Janet NcKensie Rioch, 17 West 54th
Street, New York City to the effect that he was under treatment by the

Ghief Medical Officer at the Induction Station and arranged that he should be
sent, irrespective of the doctor's certificate, to the Station Hospital
ry _. at Fort Jay for their observation and final determination. He was sent to
Fort Jay and kept at the Hospital for three days. He was rejected
not on the certificates itted, but as I was inforzed
