D.C. This form 57 aleo reflected that the appointee listed: his
marital status as single and that he had traveled to Scotland and
Europe. In addition it was listed that ABBEY had served in the
U.S. Aray from June 22, 1945, until February 13, 1947, having
Arey Serial Number 33971)138> It was noted that the appointee
listed the following references for Goverment employments

This personnel file concerning the appointee also revealed
a Personal History Statement executed July 16, 1952, in which the
appointee listed his marital status as divorced. It was also
noted on an appointment affidavit whieh was executed July 16, 1952,
that in case of an emergency the appointee's father PAUL | ABBEY
