He said that they could probably talk of many weaknesses of the conference, but that one outstanding fact appeared which could not be ignered and that was the fact that the meeting was being held. He said a year ago it would have been impessible to get the people in attendance that evening to come out for a conference on peace and that he felt the mere fact that they were in attendance at the conference in such i numbers consituted a major break through fer the forces for ; peace. KUSHNER stated that many weaknesses would undeubtedly show up during the conference, but that congéntration should be on the positive aspects ef the conference which he felt were far more important.
