The 1948 report of the California Committee on Un-American
Activities described the World Youth Council as an "international
Communist—dominated youth organization".
The 1948 report of the California Committee on Un-American
Activities deacribed the World Youth Conference as an international
gathering in London in November, 2945, at which a commission was created
which developed the completaly Communist-dominated World Federation of
Democratic Youth.
The 1948 report of the California Committee on Un-American
Activities described the american Youth for a Free World as "heavily
lafiltrated and effectively dominated by the Communist Party".
According to the "People's World" of March 27, 1946, a Pacific
Coast Communist newepaper, Frank Sinatra appeared aa the moderator of
a round-table discussion on discrimination at the Youth Council
Brotherhood Rally, which was held on February 24, 1946, at the
Philharmonie Auditorium, in Los Angeles. Thie article stated that
the rally was sponsored by 37 organizations but did not identify
