BENENSON further recalled hearing some mention at this time of Josephine and Vine, and from the relatively. short time they travelled, believed that the first step made by the car could have been at the intersection of Josephine and Vine Streets. - When the car did make the first stop BENENSON heard some sounds of scraping metal on the ground and believed that some metal objects were loaded into the passenger compartment of the. car and possibly into the trunk compartment. BENENSON “@id not specifically hear anything being loaded into the trunk but Gid recall hearing the statement at this approximate point in time to the effect, "I think you can take the key out when the car is running". One of the items placed in the car, according to his impression, was a long box, possibly metal, wiich was about the length of a guitar case. Me believed this was originally placed into another section of the car then lowered and placed atop BENENSON. - , Before the car began moving again BENENSON heard a female voice, which voice BENENSON believed to have been that of a female who had ridden in the front seat up to that time, express some doubt as to which car she was supposed to ride in thereafter. One person asked about a certain telephone number. A second person replied, "The first three digits are the same as yours. The others are ----".
