He furnished the following information concerning the gun shots he heard February 4, 1974: He was studying in his— apartment end sometime betveen 8:30 and 9:50 p.m. he heard a series of sounds like * firecrackers. They were about six’or seven shots or loud reporits, end as he knew it was near the Ghinese New Year, he did not pay any attention to it and just continued nafs A number of minutes later his younger brother went du% to jog and eame backi-shortly and said -thet he heard police sirens end was afraid to go out. They stzcyed in their epartment for 2 couple of minutes and then went out into the-strect on Benvenue and sew police cars, an ambulance and other people on Benvenue Street. He caw Tee one man. beirig placed in an ambulance, but did not see: ‘any others being put in an ambulance. an GR --u: not remember seeing any suspicious people or cars in the area earlier that day or prior to that -Night. He « not recall hearing any cars speeding from ae a : the scene. said he did not have any other information 7 concerning this incident.
