During evening 2/25/74, Mr. Hearst received telephone
’ call froma Doctor! Kimbrough whom he met later at which time
‘Kimbrough advised he had“reGeived the following instructions from
the kidnapers:”
Hearst should make a news release at 11:00 p.m., 2/25/74,
to effect that quality of food was being increased, that ten cars
were to be added to distribution center, that two people were to
be released from jail, namely, Elmer Pratt, known leader of the
Cleaver Faction of Black Panther Party (BPP) currently in Folsom,
California, Prison, and Hank Jones, identical with Henry Watson
Jones, Cleaver BPP Faction member and convicted bank robber at
U.S. Penitentiary, Atlanta, Georgia, and each was to receive
$50,000.
Mr. Hearst told Kimbrough this was absolutely impossible.
The next demand was for Mr. Hearst to set up a school for guerrilla
warfare. Mr. Hearst also said this was impossible. At this point,
Mr. Hearst told Kimbrough that he had agreed to the first plan
furnished him by Kimbrough which was to the effect that victim
