ie . March 10,1974 - {~ GENERAL INVEST er DIVISION Ce Attached is the Daily Summary furnished by the San Francisco Office (SFO) for Saturday, 3/9/74. In addition, the SFO advised separately of the receipt of a tape on 3/9/74, from the SLA. The tape was furnished to the SFO by @ representative of the "San Francisco Examiner," who had received it from San Francisco Radio Station KSAN. This radio station had received a call from an unidentified female advising the tape was in a restroom of a San Francisco restaurant. The first unidentified female voice on the tape indicates the SLA had suspended communications because the press had distorted previous communications and had not as previously demanded published the complete text of the SLA's principles. This individual was critical of the food program and indicated continued FBI investi- gation will result in the victim's execution. She demanded that Russell Little and Joseph Remiro be allowed to make public statements regarding their physical condition and the conditions surrounding their confinement. The SFO believes tape made either on or after 3/6/74, when Little and .Remiro's comments. first aired re plot by FBI to have them killed. The second voice is the victim's and in essence she too is critical of the food distribution program, her parents response to SLA demands, remarks of state and government officials regarding the kidnaping, and the FBI investigation. The victim appeared to be reading her statement. The third and fourth voices were the voices of 2 unidentified females, and contained the usual SLA retoric. The last voice is that of Cinque who urges all the oppressed people to come together, arm themselves, and “point the sites of their guns at the enemy." The FBI was not to receive the tape and we are denying possession to the press. The tape is of extremely poor quality and some parts are aimost unintelligible. A complete transcript of the tape is being submitted as well as the tape itself anda credit card belonging to the victim which are being sent to the Laboratory. ‘Copies of the tape are being ~ asent to Indianapolis, Chicago and Los Angeles where’. j William and: Emily Harris and Patricia <-\"* Michelle Solvysik réside,.in an effort ‘to determine. “4f ‘the. femaie voices on the tape &¥e identical with *heSe individuals.
