WEINER became close friends with JACK i and MICKL SCOTT due to their common political and sport ; interests, especially the Institute for the Study of Sport and Society (1SSS), which was operated by the SCOITS at Oberlin College. WEINER was employed as a Sports Intern (reporter) | at "Newsday", Garden City, New York, from Nay 30, 1974, to September 6, 1974, and he resided at 460 Hudson Street, Long Beach, New York. WEINER returned to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during the Fall, 1974, to attend Temple University - and reside with his parents at 1102 Elbridge Street, Philadelrhia® Pennsylvania. (mn May 30, 1974, WEINER visited MICKI SCOTS at JACK and MICKI SCOTT's apartment, 317 West 90th Street, New York City. WEINER does not recall JACK SCOTT being present. WEINER saw JACK and MICKI SCOTT on one or two unrecalled dates in June, 1974, in New York City. eee re ei ee | On July 1, 1974, WEINER received a telephone call froma MICKI SCOTT in which MICKI told WEINER to come to the SCOTT's apartment on the following day, July 2, 1974, to celebrate WEINER’s birthday, whieh was on the second of July. MICKI indicated they would bake a cake and have a birthday . celebration in the Pecono Mountains. , op WEINFE2 went to the SCOTT's apartment on the morning of July 2, 1974, WEINER and MICKY SCOTT leit the apartment to buy cake ingredients but discovered that ‘HGs/'s automobile had been towed away by the New York Police Nepart- ment to the Docks Impound Lot.
