FEDERAL BUREAU OF hvesticaTio@® 4 Dote of transcription __ May 23, 1974 Lés Angeles Police Department (LAPD) advised the Los Angele Office of the FBI that a van bearing California license 463 and a van bearing California License’ 84650V had been locate parked behind a residence at 1457 East 54rd Street, Los Angeles, California. These two vans had previously been observed during the late night hours of May 16, 1974, in the vicinity of 833 West 84th Street, Los Angeles, California. : if At approximately 2:00 p.m., on May 17, 4974, the | GMO At approximately 2:25 p.m., Assistant Director in Charge (ADIC) WILLIAM A. SULLIVAN, Special Agent_in Charge (5 ‘ELMER F. LINBERG, and Supervisory Special Agent figs ‘gyi Ge proceeded to the vicinity of 54th and Hoope Sy & command post had been established by tae LAPD. Prior to arrival at this address, ADIC SULLIVAN was advised by radio communication from the Los Angeles FBI Office that he should proceed to the Newton Street Division of the LAPD, 1354 Newton Street, to meet with officials of the LAPD who were handling this investigation. Upon arrival at Newton Street Division, a conference was held | wit icials of the LAPD, who were under the command of Gyan ogee SSM Investigative Support Division.
