A cartridge which refuses to die
is the 7mm Mauser, or 7x57, as
it is known. The cartridge is a
very old one. it is one of the orig-
inal Mauser cartridges and came
out in the early 1890's right after
the 8x5? and 65x57. The cart-
ridge was originally designed for
the Spanish government and the
first Mauser rifle to be chambered
for it in quantity was the Model
1893. Many surplus military rifles
have been imported recently. At
EMAAR Peni WEBS ce,

is being produced in the United
States for the 7mm cartridge, but
formerty Winchester made the
Model 54 and Model 70 bolt action

the cartridge is still a very popular
one with custom gun builders.
Cartridges have been loaded by
the various factories with bullets
ranging in weight from 139 to 150
