He stated he has had and has sold many carbines and could not be more specific regarding his recollection of the serial number and since he could not find the record of sale would not be definitely able to say this was the transaction in which he sold that particular rifle. am: -:: he could not remember how long he had the carbine With Serial Number 1248504 but did remember purchasing it through a local throw-away type newspaper, The Valley Green Sheet, in 1971. He added if he had not been unlucky enough to have been arrested by the LAPD with this weapon, no one would have known he had possessed it. ef said he had little recollection of the individual purchasing the carbine and doubted very seriously {$f he could recognize her again from a photograph or in person.
