Result of examination: .
Specimens Q1652 through Q1847 are 7.65mm Mauser
cartridges which have been loaded with 185-grain, copper~-
jacketed boat-tail bullets. The "ORBEA" headstamps on these
cartridges indicate they were manufactured for military use
by Cartucheria Orbea, Argentina. Principal weapons adapted
to chamber and fire the 7.65mm Mauser cartridge consist of
the following: M30 Remington, M54 Winchester, M70 Winchester,
M1889 Belgian Mauser, M1890 Turkish Mauser, M1891 Argentine
Mauser, M1893 Turkish Mauser, M1903 Turkish Mauser, M1909
Argentine Mauser, M1935 Belgian Mauser, M1936 Belgian Mauser
rifles, and various Maxim machineguns.
Specimen Q1848 is a 7mm Mauser cartridge of
Remington-Peters manufacture which has been loaded with a
a 175-grain copper-—jacketed, “soft point"bullet, Principal
weapons adapted to chamber and fire the 7mm Mauser cartridge
consist of the following: Commercial Mausers (D.W.M.),, FN
. WMausers, Husqvarna Mausers, Johnson Semi-auto, wannlichbr-
{ Schoentuers, Mexican Mausers, #5 Remington Rolling Bloc§,
* 30 Remington, M77 Ruger, M54 Winchester, M70 Wincheste®,
