M1892 Spanish Mauser, M1893 Spanish Mauser, M1894 Brazilian Mauser, M1895 Chilean Mauser, M1895 Mexican Mauser, M1895 . Spanish Mauser, M1897 Remington R/B, M1898 Mauser, M1902 / Remington R/B, M1908 Mondragon semi-Auto, M1936 Mexican Mauser rifles and Chilean Madsen MG, Mexican Mendoza LMG, M1941 Johnson LMG, M1944 Johnson LNG machineguns. Inked printing on the 12 boxes containing the Q1652. through Q1831 cartridge reads: "SAN FRANCISCO GUN EXCHANGE, a 75 FOURTH ST. YU 2-6097, WARNING-KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN." These cartridges are Argentine military surplus and were probably sold by the San Francisco Gun Exchange. Numerous microscopic marks are present on the ' Q1652 through Q1848 cartridges, However, it cannot be determined if all these markings were produced by the accompa~ nying stripper clips or if some of these markings were possibly produced by the mechanism of a weapon(s). Nothing was found to indicate that any of the above were reloads. Specimens Q1849 through Q1861 consist of thirteen copper and brass-plated B-B shot which bear no marks of value for identification with a weapon. All of the above-listed specimens are being temporarily retained in the Laboratory for future comparison purposes. a ipage 2 PC-L1162 PR r 7 vin a ay ete? loa ne Saye ed
