Result of examination: Q1863 was not associated with material maintained in the Anonynous- Letter File. Copies have been added thereto. The typewriting on 01863 corresponds to Laboratory standards for a Smith-Corona (SCM) pica style of type, spaced ten characters per horizontal inch. 01525, previously submitted in this case, and Q63 through 065, previously submitted in case captioned "Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) Eit" were found to correspond to this Smith~Corona (SCM) style of type. However, due to the lack of a sufficient number of individual identifying characteristics, a definite concausion was not reached whether these items were prepared by the same typewriter. Typewriting differences were observed in comparing the typewriting on 91863 with the typewriting on 01525 which indicates these items may heve been prepared by different typewriters. Q1863 contains no watermarks, indented writing of significance or other characteristics to aid in definitely determining. its source. Q1863, which has been photographed, is being returned separately.
