LEWIS advised tha his telephotie nuhber at the station was 877-2711. He advised that his counselor's telephone number is 380-6707, LEWIS advised that at 6:30 aem., June 7, 1974, an employee at this company reccived a telcpbone call from an anonymous individual stating that a recording fron PATRICLA HEARST had been placed behind a mattress at the rear of the etatien at this lecation. The anony- mous caller stated that the recording was in a manila envelope and the voice directed that the recording be played over the air. ~ i ee Weer LEWLS was questioned whether the voice was male or female and he stated he could not answer at this time. He was questioned as to who received the call and he con- sulted with ettorney FINKEL and wes advised that he like- wise should not answer this question. LERIS was asked to turn the orisinal tape and the minila cnvelope an whieh if came over to the FRI at this time and he stated thet he had been instructed by - his counsel to refuse to release the tape except through court channels by means of subpoena. He stated that after the recording caine, it had been recorded on tape and he had a copy of the recording available.
