43 On February 1, 1975, WALTER JOSEPH SCOTT wag
interviewed at Scranton, Pa., in reaponse to en earlier
request, January 31, 1975, that he bo interviewod by
membera of the Scranton Police Department. The initial
interview of January 31, 1975, was directed towards ob-
taining information WALTER SCO??T wanted to volunteer per-
taining to allegations he wag making thet relatives of hig:
were involved in transporting and arranging hiding placeg for
PATRICIA HEARST. The interview of WALTER J. SCOTT on
_ February 2, 1975, began at 9:10 awm, At 10:41 a.m,
February 1, 1975, WALTER J. ScoT? made a statement to the
. offect that "So far as I know there may be -some charge" that
could be brought against WALTER J. scofrr, At this point,
WALTER J, SCOTT had furnished no information involving him-
self in‘any participation in the harboring of PATHICIA HEARST
or her alleged current associates, WILLIAM and EMILY HARRIS.
| At 10:41 a.m., WALTER JOSEPH SCOTT was given an “Interrogation;
Advice of Rights" form, which he read and immediately signed,
; On February 1, 1975, the interview initiated with
request that WALTER J. SCOTT furnish a history of hia family.
He said that his father was JOHN SCOTT, age 65, currently
residing at 5016 South Maryland Parkway, Las Veras, Nev.,
and immediately previous te thia lived at 6436 Casada Way,
&n apartment complex in Las Vegas, Nev.- He advised that hie
mother, LOUISE, age 66, lives with nis father at the Maryland
Parkway addreas where JOHN SCOTT is employed as ithe manager,
His living quartera are at this address and described as being
near the regiatration area or offics area of a motel, name
unimown. ;

eldest being WALTER JOSEPH SCOTT, and the youngest being
