The fugitives were not discussed during thia visit. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ‘RECALLED DURING INTERVIEW WALTER SCOTT was asked if he knew whether or not his brother, JACK, was associated with any of the members of the so-called Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). He said he did not know this to be true and did not know when JACK SOOTT became acquainted with EMILY and WILLIAM HARRIS. He also advised he had no reason to believe that PATTY HEARST - was acquainted with JACK SCOTT, JACK SOCOTT's wife, or any of his, JACK SCOTT's, associates, so oo WALTER J, SCOTT was asked why he was furnishing information abowt the HEARST kidnaping to the -PBI at the present time. His answer was that he did not agree with the radical philosophy of his brother, JACK. He said that he was upset over the fact that his parents have been brought into the affair by hia brother, JACK, and also he was upset over the fact that there had been reports of fecent bombings in the San Francisco area, WALTER SCOTT was asked when was the first apecific recolleotion hse had, if any, that JACK SCOTT stated that he was a Communist. He stated that he never heard JACK SCOTT make a specific statement per se that he was a Communist. WALTER SCOTT advised, however, that JACK SCOPE ia a Cormunist, more than that, an avowed Commnist that would like to gee the Government of the United States overthrown. _-.
