M, 2. ey, MEMORANDUM During a conversation with Mr. Tolson at Detroit Mr. Quinn advised him of the following: — Mr. Quinn stated Mr. Rex}Collier was in and advised that the Boettcher case 5 ’ / goes on next Saturday night! that Mr. Collier states Mr. Tolson has revised copies of this and the changes were made; that there were no changes in the body of it. Mr. Quinn stated Mr. Maragon telephoned and wants Barry for ef baseball game tomorrow afternoon. Mr. Tolson stated thia would be all right but that Barry would have to make up the time. Mr. Quinn stated Judge Holtzoff called and stated he had recelved the report from the Bureau of Standards; that Butler's contention was incorrect, the trouble was not in defective wiring but it was a poor job of wiring; that there are too many electrical attachments for the generator; that in thia connection Butler's attorney conferred with Judge Holtzoff this morning and Butler has agreed to put on an oversized generator. Mr. Tolson stated that Butler would notify him when the generator was installed and then the matter would be handled direct with Butler and Judge Holtzoff could fade out of the picture. Mr. Quinn advised of a conference with contractors in regard to the/zymasiun and ir. Tolson stated it would be Mr. Quinn's job, the only one for him to do, to get the gymnasium built. Mr. Quinn also atated a letter had been received from Mr. Dunn at Los Angeles showing the protion pictures that had been exempt. Mr. Tolson said this matter rould wait His return.
