Exact date of PAUL!s de— parture from Camp in 1937 can be ascertained through refer— ence to hospital records of his mother. In 1935 Dr. PAUL recalied that TIMOTHY HOBSON was at Camp. PAUL met ALGER and PRISCILLA HISS at Camp in 1936 on 2 or more occasions when they visited HOBSON for short periods of from 1 to 4 days duration. In either 1936 or 1937 Dr. PAUL vaguely re- members that-HISS and wife stayed at residence of Miss ELIZ— ABETH PARKER, Chestertown, Md., who on one occasion accom— panied HISS..and wife to Camp... Dr. PAUL not acquainted with friends or associates of HISS and wife with exception of mem— bers of FANSLER family. He has no recollection of statements made by HISS or wife that would indicate activity harmful to interests of the Government. Dr, PAUL can state HOBSON was at Camp at least half of summer term, 1936 and possibly for full term but beliéves HOBSON left early to spend remaining vacation with parents at place unknown.
