dc not recall much about the ccntroct expiring with Mine B in 1937 in view

think the strike was called because some of the mon wanted to be with the
Frogressive union while the cthers wanted to be with United.

"I ranenbder that some of these men who wanted to form a U.M.W
locel were DOMINICRPASQUALE, TONY PLOTCH ond some others. As far as I know
all cf the men were ‘satisfied with the PMA union. I remember that at one
of the unicn meetings semé cf the men were fired from the union because they
wore spiese I do recnll that it was somotime around the time of the strike,
but I don't knew any of the details. I know that there were some clains
made that scmebody stole some ballots when the mine went rMA, but I do not
renember anything moro about the relationship between the ccmpany and the
unicn.
