ceme out on strike, This was the first I had known of a strike.
I did not attend any meeting the night before the strike.
"I don't recall signing any petitions in the summer of 1937.
I saw'in the paper in august 1937 that Elshoff had signed a con-
tract with Ue and so when it was anno nced that the Mine "pt"
would open in Sept. 1937, I went out to work but instead we began
picketing. I. picketed at mine "B" off an_ on for a month or 80,
I was not present when tue injunction was served on the pickets.
