"T was working at Mine B in the spring of 1937 and don't mow
anything about any wage dispute or any qucstions about wages. I never
heard anything about any men working for United. at the time of the strike
I was working in Box and remember that we all worked as usual until
about 3 ofclock in the afternoon, when they told us to go home. ‘we didn't
know anything about any strike until after the strike was called.
“IT remember that a short time after the strike somc Progressive
men told me to sign ea paper so I signed it. I don't remember any petitions
being sent around to the mens I went out to the mine in the fall when the
mon went on the picket line and stayed there off and on until the injunction
was issued in Dec. of 1937, I used to come cvery once in a while, especially
