Tho Mine B shut down because of those men whe kert on workine. Just before quitting timo we were tole to shut down & I left my tools there TI never cot all of them back. I zgucss I signed some paper for F.M.A. & Ro one forcod me to sign it & 1 simned it at the mine. I also siznec another one later on & no one forced me to sien it. JI never sicned o U.N. petition. Tony Floteh; andy Schevel- vious; Dominic Pasquale: Feter Carter: Frank Austin: ‘Cotton ananias; John & Geo. Sirtout; Goo. & Emory Jacaway; Chas. I voted at Armory twice in town, TE was a good election & P.M.A. won. Wo onc mate mo vote - it was by secret ballot too, I voted F.M.i. I hearé Mine B tricd to reopen later too but I didntt ro out. I heard Elshoff did not wont F.M.A. out there even tho F.M.A. won the clection, I zt a letter in fr1l of 1939 telling me t> come out to work & ad t I wont to work 2 days later in a goon place but it wasn't my old box, One mornin= ol¢ man named sn changins shves in wash room & he was askee by: 3 men when he was esine to join ovor to U.N... & these 3 beat hin up in my presenec. ae «<:- two of the 3 mon. I also was askod in Vines when I was goinz to join up & I was tole if IJ didn't join up 1 would not zct any cars & I told them I cidn’t care, I also had some tools stolen too. I heard of others gcttinz beat up & once saw 3 FMA. with bloody noses there. I saw o lot of now men then but now they are oll gone from Mine B. I joinec UM, before the second NeLsRoB election took place. I never -_Ae as signec any cards for UM. or FMA. I got to sien with U.N, otherwise I felt I would set beat up & I did not join thom becouse I liked thom as still like F.M.A. better thon U."%.. For 18 months too I gt bac rooms there at Mine B, I heard of men gotting tdocks' but I nover sot any myself. A fellow named sat beat up at a ULM. meetinz tecause he would not buy some boncs. so worked at Mine B for a couplo of - 66 = t r
