accept my dues because I workod in a non-union mino during the time Panther
Creek Coal Hine #4 was closed, I returned ‘> ia and
worked until April 1940 whon the mine closed as They no longer had orders
for coal.

"In July 1940 I asked Oscar Falcetti the supt. at Mino “B" for
a job and I was put to work os a timberman, Oscar Falectti did not osk
mo what union I was a member of, nor did anyone ask mo to join any union.
About threo days after I went ‘to work at Iino "B" I joined UMW through Joo
Albanese as I wanted to be a member of a union and PMA prevented me from
working ot Panther Creck Mine, therefore, I did not wish to join PMA,
nan .
