The men were satis~ fied as far as I know with the Progressive Mine Workers of America. I was satisfied with the PMi. I did not attend meetings of the PMN very regularly. I attenkd only one meeting when the matter of the change in peers iin dis- cussed. I think that it was at Redman's hall. As I recall told us thet night that they were going to olose, and dismantle Mine A, and take the coal out through Mine B. As I reoall the thought that we would be better off if we joined the United Mine Workers. I do not reoall the de- toils. I do not think that I went to the meeting when the men voted and signed up with the UMi. I think that when I joined the UMW, that about 200 men had already joined up.
