The results of the INS inquiry and interviews are set out below: On June 28, 1963, it was learned from representatives at INS headquarters, Washington, D. C., that on 19 963, AUSA Peter Fleming, SDNY, requested INS files on Rarry Alan owers, Maria Novotny and Ilona Christie, nee Bata. INS urnished its files on Towers and ovotny to Fleming as these persons are out of the U.S. and INS files are closed. INS did not, however, furnish its files on Ilona Christie as she is currently under consideration for n . She was linked with the Towers case along with who were both alleged to have furnished prostitution r Novotny. In response to INS inquiry as to the purpose for what the USA‘s office wanted these files, INS was edvised that “There is a vague end remote possibility that espionage may be involved." INS representatives advised that INS has no current interest in the Towers case, that they have no information éf thetr own or from other agencies regarding recordings being sent behind the Iron Curtain and that they have no knowledge of any international call girl activities which would fall within the purview of the WSTA that is not already known to this Bureau.
