Mre, Conner a slip of paper bearing the number “36049" was noted, It was
ascertained that this is the Hot Springs telephone number of Mise Edna
Eumphrey, who resides at 214 Parker, and is employed as a waitress at the
National Cafe. This party was interviewed but she stated she never heard
of Era. Conner.
With reference to the report received by the Kansas City Office
to the effect that Lou Conner might be located at Benton, Arkansas, in-
quiries were made at that point by Agents through the Post Office, Sheriff's
Office and City Marshal, none of whom could furnish any information indicat-
ing that it was true. These parties were furnished with descriptive date
with the request that the Bureau Office at Oklahoma City be notified should
any information be obtained, either regarding Bra. Conner or the car ahe
ia reported to be driving, and they promised to cooperete.
