Hash atated to Special agents Le G. Turrou and Dwight Brantley, who can be reached - through the Kansas City office of the United States Bureau of Investigation, that she mde this call at the direction of Subject Galatae, who brought her to Mrs. Conner's residence fram a tourist camp at Hot Springs, dirkaneas, where she and Nash had been stoppinge het she called Chicago and asked for Louis Stacey, who was absent, but that she talked to one “Jimmie” (who is headwaiter) - and told him that Nesab bad been apprehended. Also in this connection she admitted phoning the residence of Herbert Allen Farmer at Joplin, Missouri, which telephone call is listed as call number 3 hereing She stated ber reason for making these calle wae entirely innocents That Galateas asked her if she would call some of Nash‘’s friends at Joplin and Chicagosand requested her to. tell them that Nash bed been arrested, Howver, she did admit to agents Turrou and Brantley that Galatasa told her Nash waa being taken to Joplin, Missouri, ena she admitted that she expected to see Hash at Joplin as she believed Galatas *- would see the officers and have her husband releasede In connection with call number 2 attention is directed to oall number 4 where it will be noted that louis Stacey at the Oe Pe Inn in Chicago telephoned for Vernon C. Miller at Kansas Citys Missouri, but talked to Frank Be Mulloye Stacey's telephone call Was evidently made pursuant to the call received by him fran Mras Hashe 1 LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE CALL NUMBER S, FROM THE TELEPHONE OF ANS.
