United States attorney Vandeventer ezpreased the opinion
that the evidence ageinst re. Nash would not be sufficient te eonvict, and
iosemuch as ehe had already furnished bell on the Pederal charge pending
ageinst her be believed thet should she decide to disclose all information
in ber possession in connection vith this matter, that the beat interests
of the Government would be served if the murder charges against her were
withdreun or dismissed.

Rash, @ representetive of the United States Attorney's office, and Special
agente Turrou and drantley, end at the suggestion of Lr. Vandeventer, it
wae agreed that the matter be teken up agaia with the Froeecutor’s Office.
Lichsel O'Hern, aseietant Frosecutor, stated that anything agreeable to the
Government ia the conse would de acceptable to his office, and on angust End,
