She also sald she met a woman friend of Vern and Vi dy ‘ the name of “Sonny* but does not know her leet name or her husband's name, but that the husband was wery balde She said that this “Betty* appeared to be a very good friend of Vi, but she does not know the last name, but she does know that Betty wee quite eccomplished and epoke of having travelled in Europe, She said : ehe mot two men friends of Verne by the name of Sammy; (that is, | doth of them were named Sammy} and another women friend by the name } of *Pigeon,* She stated that after remaining in Hew York for some time she and Frank returned to Chicago and lived with Verne and Vi in an epartment op South Boulevard, in Oak Park, Illinois, end that Lillien Holden, wife of Tom Holden, now in the United States Peni- tentiary, lived with them, She said they remained there for severe) wookse (This apartment, no doubt, is the same one referred to in the report of Special agent J, J. Keating of the Chicago Office PeSi-1925 on Page 57, the addresas of which apartment is 419 South Boulevard, Oak Park)e She said that she end Frank were frequently et Louie's Place, located. out of Chicago, and she believea that on one occasion she saw James (Fur) Semmons there, and that he was know as Jimmie. She mid that in March of 1935 she and Frank went to Hot Springe, Arkansas, and that when they left Verne and Vi were amy from the apartment in Qak Park, but she does not know where they wore as frequently they would make trips and be gone for a period of a few days. At this point Mre. Baab related that while in Kot Springa in March or April she met Albert and Fether Farmer for the first time. This meeting, of course, is reflected in statements hitherto made by Mra, Nashe She also stated that while in Hot Springs about this time she sav Vernon Miller there. She also stated that during the summer of 1952 she and Frank visited Vernon and Vi at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and that Vernon and Vi had a very nice cottage at the Lake. Mrs. Nash was questioned concerning friends, associates and acquaint ances of Frenk Nash and Vernon Killer, She stated that while in St. Paul on one occasion she was at a saloon or olub of some kind, the name and address of which abe does not know, and that she met a woman known only as "mother", » 5 e@
