He further stated that he had advised Gus Jones to go beck
to Dellas and fror there to San 4ntonio for the purpose of contecting
Louise HWegmess, the women elleged to have been in the company of Catherine
Kelly at Des Moines, Lowa, lest week. He states thet Louise Megness
is epperently en important cog in this metter and possibly through con-
tccting her we will be able to locate the Kelly woman. He further
stcites thet Jones knows the Magness women and hes contacts through which
he can reach her.
Mr. Nathan atated thet he had talked with Vetterli over the
telephone relative to the report of the threatened kidmeping of the
Governor of Sansas; that Vetterli had been umeble to give him any in-
fornetion of walue over the telephone as he was then talking fron
Brerster's office. He gathered thiut there is not a great deal to the
metter. Vetterii will return to Kansas City this evening end Mr. Nathen
