Inspsetor Tronsegarde. assigned the matter to Inspectors John Butler ené J. M, Graham, who, is turn, summoned Superintendent Edward Smith cf Post Office Sub-Station 6 to their office, where it was agreed that Mr. G&mith would personally supervise the tracings of a1] mail sdidressed to the Frames Beauty Salon, 149 West 47th Street, and also that shen eny letter was to de delivered ‘to thet eddrese Mr. Smith would advise Inspectors Butler end Graban of the fact, who in turn would notify the New York office of the Division in order thet the Frances Beauty Salon might be covered in an effort to learn if the letter was being immedistely forwarded. In the event thet anyone was observed to place the letter in any of the bores in the vicinity of the Frences Beauty Salon, Mr, Smith or his essistants were to be con- tacted by telephone at Columbus 55673 in order that they nicht immediately send someone to open the box in Mostion and teke out the mail for inspection, ° 4t the time Inspector John Lyons was interviewed he furnished agents with the following kmown hang-out pleces of Louls Buchalter and his associates: Reeteurant at 77 Fifth avenue Fourth Avenue Hotel, €29 Fourth avenues. » 19 #
