Eneen of thia office, in company with Sheriff Howard Durley, Ventura, California, contacted Fred Peterson at his residence, 645 East Santa Street, Venturae Mr. Peterson stated that for the past several weeks he had dean living at the Palace Hotel, having left his residence on Santa Street; that adjacent to the Palace Hotel is a restaurant called the "Mission Xnn*, and that he believes the proprietor of said restaurant ia identical with Richearé Galatas, Subject of I. 0.
