- Fm foet thick, the bottom of the compartment being covered with paper bags and other articles, and the door opened approximately four inches to get @ view of the hall. Immediately upon MILLER’S leaving epartment 211, Mrs. Rogers stated, "That's Miller". Agent advised Mra. Rogers et the time that she could not possibly see hie features the length of the hall; and this agent, aa atated before, was unable to be reasonably certain that MILL®R was the ‘man coming down the hall until the instant he started to run around the corner, giving a split-second view of his profile and jev. It my be further noted that the question of identification had been discussed thoroughly with Agent Guinan and instructions were for me to wait until I was reasonably sure apon the basis of my ow observe tion of the man that he was MILLER before ao stating. Agent Michols advised that the men next to the door in 207 left the apartment at exactiy the time I notified Agent Guinan that the man was MILLER, although agent Nichols did not hear that I had identified MILLER at the time he (NICEOLS) left the apartmant because of the fact that the confusion at the door prevented his hearing my statement to Guinan, who ms et the rear of the group of men assembled at the door.
