Police Department of Cesper, it was learned that during the period
‘of the residence of Herry Campbell and Glen Rey Wright, as referred. .

January 26, 1934, various members of the Police Department were
keeping these two men under surveillance as suspicious characters,
suspecting them specifically with perpetrating various burglaries .
which were at that time occurring in Casper. It appears also that
these various policemen who were working on the case were very
solicitous in keeping from their fellow policemen, and one another,
the detaile of the information upon which they were working, and that
a great deal of contention and bitterness exiets among these police >
ws officers, one of which, Officer Newlin, has since that time been.
‘dismissed from the police forcé. It appears that during the time ®
‘thet Campbell and Wright were in the city of Casper, they resided at
the residence located at 137 N. Jackson Street, which building is - -
owned by Mr * - end Mra, Ce Mheéler, of 125 8. Jackson Streete ----~—- ~~*
in interview with Mr. and lirs, H.C, Nneeler at their
howe, developed that Campbell used the alias “Jack Wade", and Wright
_ used the elias of “Harry Martin", end resided at 157 N. Jackson Street _
together with a woman known to them as Mrs, Martin, who elaimed to be.
the wife of Harry Martin, and the eieter of Jack Wade, and that during: -.
the period between February 21, 1¢33, and on or about April 1, 1033,
‘and at the time when they first moved to the above address, they ~ oe
had en svtcmctils which bore Oklahoma license plates, but leter these” ~
plates were changed and Wyoming 1933 license plates were attached to
the car. With reference to these license plates, it was ascerteined
from the Register of Motor Vehicles in the County Court House at Casper,
thet license No. 1-3604 were issued by the State of Wyoming for 1933 :
