According to the erticle, “more than 10,380 KSU students, faculty, and local residents signed the petition." It stated that "the petition charges there is a 'discrenancy' between Attorney General JOHN MITCHELL's decision of Aucust 12 that there is ‘insufficient evidence!’ to warrent a Federal Grand Jurv probe and the FoI's report that the shooting was 'unjustified."
