On May 22, 1974, ADOLPH LEWIN, doing
business as Universal Gem and Jewelry Company,
Incorporated, Room 604, 5 ierth Wabash avenue,
appeared before United States District Court
Judge WILLIAM J. LYNCH in connection with a
Government's motion for the revocation of
LEWIN's Federal probation. (Cn this occasion LEVIN
was represented by his attorney EDWARD CALLAILAN.
At that time Mr. CALLAHAN pointed out to the
* court that he only had a very short opportunity
to review the report of United States Probation
Cfifice: CHARLES MAXTIN which has been prepared
and was the basis for the Govermment's motion
for revocation of srobation, it that time Judge
LYNCH continued the hearing until 2:00 p.m.
that afternoon.
