its report dated March 29, 1944, eited Filas for Democracy
as "a Comzunist front organisation,®

According to the June 11, 1938, issue of the
"Daily worker” Lillfer Hellman was a sponsor of a drive
of the Friends of the Abrahas, Lineoln Brigade to bring home
several hundred wounded Amerlears frorz France and Spain.
