On 11/19/2003, a Ramey warrant was issued for Jackson's arrest, charging multiple counts of child molestation [California Penal Code 288(a)]. Bail was recommended to be set at $3 million. Jackson surrendered himself to the custody of the SBSD on 11/20/2003 and was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on the arrest warrant.
