NY T-14, a confidential source abroad, also —
advised on September 11, 1959, that the September 5, 1959,
_ issue of "L'Humanite" contained an article which described
ROBESON's arrival at Orly Airport, Paris, France, on
| September, #, 1959. This article stated that ROGER“nO
/ and ANDRE“STIL, members of the Central Committeé
CP of France, were present among others at the airport
to welcome ROBESON to Paris. This article in part concerns
an interview with ROBESON in which he mentions his early
childnood and to some extent discusses his musical impressions.
In concluding this interview, ROBESON states that he has
always been proud to be a colored American and has always
been conscious of the struggle which the workers and the
colored rreople have in common, a ao
