Now when I am sperding a very short time in Budapest, I feel the same affection and friendship present in the letters and messages sent to me in the course of my isolation. Next week I am coming back for a few hours and in autumn for a few days. Next spring I shall spend four or five weeks in the country giving recitals. Still, I am here and I shall come back many more times and shall visit China . too. I intend to spend six months of every twelve in the socialist countries, in the Soviet Union and the people's demotratic countries. Only six months, because the rest of the time I want to meet the peace fighters of the capitalist countries. Recently 25,000 people gathered in Trafalgar Square to attend a peace meeting where I spoke. Its reverberations have been considerable not only in Britain, but also in the United States.
